At Spin City we strive to provide an inclusive environment for all. The company began in 2007 when Kate Edwards (nee Johnstone) set up her first studio, Spin City Bristol, with an aim of getting more women into exercise.
Over several years Spin City expanded to become one of the largest specialist aerial schools in the UK, with several venues across the south, offering a fun and challenging approach to aerial fitness in a welcoming and professional environment.
Kate now specialises in training other instructors via Spin City’s intentionally endorsed Instructor Training Programme, with courses ranging from Beginner to Advanced-level Instructor Training in Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks and Aerial Sling. Spin City’s innovative approach to Instructor Training unites cutting-edge fitness techniques with an array of aerial equipment and provides instructors with opportunities for ongoing training through a range of continued professional development workshops.
Alongside the courses, Spin City also produce two of the leading educational resources available through the Spin City Bibles range and the Team Spin City instructor resource hub.
What our students say –
“Energetic, knowledgeable and with a limitless ability to demonstrate, our instructor was excellent. It was very apparent that an immense amount of work has gone into the preparation of the courses and it was clear that as instructors our work is cut out in order to qualify and prove safe practice and techniques. I would highly recommend training with Spin City Aerial Fitness.”
